Founded in 1976, we are the nation’s largest boat shaft distributor and manufacturer of the Aqualoy brand of stainless steel boat shafting and rudders. We serve large original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), custom boat builders, marine distributors, and machine shops throughout the United States. We are known for our technical support and overall boat shafting expertise.

Our Suffolk facility features a state-of-the-art chemical laboratory and propeller shaft testing technology. We offer:

Optical emission spectroscopy for fast and accurate determination of the chemical composition of metallic specimens

In addition to Aqualoy propeller shafting, Western Branch distributes 17-4PH condition H1150 (analysis and mechanical properties) and XM-19 (hot rolled properties) round bar, along with various marine-related products, including type 304 keystock, shaft couplings, and leaded red brass and bronze propeller nuts.
